2016 is just around the corner…only a few days before we ring in the New Year! What is happening in Lancaster to help you celebrate the end of 2015 and ring in the new one? Of course, you can relax at the Bed and Breakfast and watch the ball drop. But there are other “drops” happening around the area that can be enjoyed.
- Red Rose drops at Binns Park in Lancaster. This is a family oriented event with entertainment all evening and ending with fireworks at midnight. Concert with Sweet Embers begins at 10 PM. Free admission
- Chocolate town of Hershey raises a Hershey Kiss before midnight and ends with fireworks. A sweet place to be on New Year’s Eve!
- Dutch Country Food – The 16 foot Lebanon Bologna will be dropped in Lebanon. For a fun filled and creative “drop”, this is the place to be.
Other entertainment in the area would be celebrated with a mix of circus and symphony at the American Music Theatre. Cirque Musica combines cirque artists performing with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra providing a wonderful theatrical performance. Tickets are required for both shows at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM on December 31st.
This is just a sample of the celebrations happening in our town and surrounding area. Say goodbye to 2015 and welcome in 2016 in Lancaster!
