The 33rd annual Demuth Garden Tour is soon approaching. This event honors Lancaster’s most famous artist, Charles Demuth. Demuth was a water colorist and his paintings were inspired by his mother’s Victorian gardens. It is the Demuth Museum’s largest fundraiser. This house and garden tour features several Lancaster homes and urban gardening. The Conestoga House tour and garden are also a part of the Demuth Garden Tour. Many city gardens typically unseen as you walk the city streets will be open during this tour. The Conestoga House gardens features hundreds of perennial plants. Tickets may be purchased online for $18.00 in advance or $20 on day of the tour. Tickets are valid for both days so take the time to enjoy city gardening and support the Demuth Museum!
